Welcome to Patriot High National Business Honor Society! The 1st National Business Honor Society in Prince William County!

The National Business Honor Society is an official division of the National Business Education Association, and to qualify for membership, a student must be a high school junior enrolled in a business course or a senior who has completed two business courses and is enrolled in their 3rd business course. A student must also have a minimum standard GPA in business courses of an average of 3.5 and an overall average of 3.0.

Our Missions

The National Business Honor Society is an organization devoted to honoring students who excel in business - related classes while providing an opportunity to improve business skills through service projects and extracurricular activities.

Our Objectives

  1. Promote and recognize academic achievement in business education at Patriot High School.
  2. Foster and recognize leadership skills and character development.
  3. Help members grow ethically and socially by promoting and encouraging an interest in business.
  4. Encourage member involvement in service learning initiatives.

Membership Requirements

Members are required to attend meetings, participate in service projects, share in fundraising efforts, and remain a member in good standing throughout the year. Members who successfully complete all requirements will be permitted to wear the NBHS stole at graduation.

Note: Applying for membership does not guarantee acceptance. A selection committee composed of Business teachers and other school personnel will review each application. Applicants will be notified as to whether or not they will be invited to become a member of NBHS.
