Parent Teacher Conference Procedures

With the use of ParentVUE and Canvas, our hope is that teachers, students and parents will be able to communicate frequently as to the progress of the students.

If parents have a question about their student's progress, we ask that they email the teacher. Contact information should be included on the staff directory or the teacher's Canvas page. If, after the teacher contact, parents feel that a face to face meeting is in order, they can set something up with that individual teacher. If three or more teachers are involved, parents can contact the counselor and he/she will help to facilitate the meeting.

Social Media Tips for Parents and Students

The PWCS Department of Student Services provides a wealth of parental information about social media (such as Facebook, Kik, Instagram, etc.). Visit the Student Services webpage for information and resources.

Work Permit Procedure

According to the Department of Labor and Industry (DOLI), students and/or their parents will no longer need to visit their local schools for assistance in obtaining a work permit. As of September 11, 2013, instructions and all documents can be found on the DOLI website.
