For22:
A Tribute to Josh Morrison

for22 poster

Please consider coming out to Patriot High School for our FOR22 event on April 23, starting at 6 p.m. We will be hosting a game against Osbourn HS that night and will recognize a member of our first graduating class (2013).

Josh Morrison was a member of our baseball program and was a founder of our Red Nation spirit group. He had also accepted a scholarship to play baseball at GMU. He lost his life because of a car accident in December of 2013.

Since that time, no one on the Patriot baseball team has worn the #22. In honor of him, on that night, our entire baseball team will all wear #22 for warm-ups and our field is decorated with #22 logo.

Our Leadership classes work to support the sale of FOR22 t shirts with ALL PROCEEDS from the sale of those shirts going to the SWEET JULIA GRACE foundation, a local charity. Shirts will be on sale all week April 15-22, and can be ordered through this link. Your shirt(s) can be picked up at the front desk of the school anytime before 2 pm on 4/22/24 or at the table inside of the stadium the day of the event (4/23).

Josh was a great kid, always smiling, happy, and willing to make everyone feel welcome. He was a great person and an outstanding athlete, and a member of our community with a huge heart.

Please consider coming out to support this event which we have created to commemorate one of our own from the first graduating class.

If you have further questions, or media inquiries, please contact Brad Qualls, Director of Student Activities or Mike Bishop, Principal, at Patriot High School.
